Company History

Tredway Pools Plus was founded in 1976 by A. John Tredway. Its primary function was the construction of new In-Ground swimming pools. In 1980, Tredway Pools Plus rented its first retail store. In 1984, Tredway Pools Plus constructed a new 3,000 sq ft. store, while our present location was built in 1994. Through the years we have evolved into a full service pool and spa company with a growing emphasis on the retailing of backyard related and home leisure items, all the while maintaining our pool construction interest. In 1996, we again grew, adding 2,500 sq ft. to our retail showroom and added billiards as a product line. In August 2000, A. John Tredway decided to explore new opportunities unrelated to the pool industry, and sold the business to its current owner, John Denny.
